Every Halloween we have a costume contest and a pumpkin carving competition. Prof. Carroll always wins the pumpkin carving, but we will get him next year moo-ha-ha-ha.

The entrants in the non-physics theme category were Tinkerbell, Jessica Tucker, Prof. Koehn and Prof. Thomsen.	The winner was Jeff dressed as Dr. Thomsen.

The entrants in the physics theme category were i-hat, Research Physics Barbie, human force diagram, the Koehn-Tucker conundrum, relative axes and Dr. Thomsen.	The winner was the human force diagram, but only second and third place received prizes.
Dr. Carroll’s pumpkin was very scary. It was a falling pumpkin complete with a force diagram and the solution, which was graphed on the back.
