The objectives of the Society of Physics Students include, but are not limited to:
encouraging and assisting students
interested in physics to develop the knowledge, competence, enthusiasm,
and social responsibility that are essential to the advancement of
physics
developing collegiality among physics students and faculty members
promoting public interest in physics
