SPS FALL PICNIC
We traditionally have our picnic on the roof of Sherzer Hall, but it rained this year.  So, we had a wonderful indoor picnic in the Physics Reading Room.

SPS folks brought lots of food, some healthy and some  just tasty.

While wating for the pizza to arrive, several people played "THE GAME".

If you lost "THE GAME" you got a nastty shock in your hand.

Our department head, Dr. Carroll, decided to play.

Um, he didn't win.  Clearly the volts were a jolt.

Dr. Jacobs is happy the pizzas arrived before she was asked to play.

Dr. Carrroll was first in line (he IS the department head!).

Tiffany and Jake aren't far behind.

Salad and pizza -- a fine meal.

We had quite a feast.

Mikhail enjoys some good conversation while he eats.

Brad and Dan do too.

Charlton and Tiffany are clearly planning the next game.

Chuck and Dr. Behringer give the food a thumbs up.

Shannon and Nick are ready to find out what Charlton's game is going to be.

It is going to be Pictionary.  We have to break up into teams and write, on little pieces of paper, the words that will be drawn.

Nick is the first artist.  He is AMAZING.  We  think he has an undergraduate minor in Pictionary.

Nick is explaining to his team how easy it was to guess his latest word.  Yeah, right.

Charlton timed the event on his sweet telephone.

Dr. Carroll is amused by the drawing of a teammate (or maybe he is confused).

Then it was his turn to try drawing.

Whatever was being drawn  was clearly funny to many folks.

Dr. Jacobs was not anywhere near as good at drawing as her teammate Nick.  It took forever to get folks to say "salad'.

The other teams don' t look too happy when the A Team (Nick,  Louis, Shannon, Chuck and Dr. Jacobs) were declared the winner.
