All of the poems in this book are centered around a light theme.  Many of the poems are shaped like sources of light such as a fireworks, a campfire, and a moon.  The poems highlight many aspects of light that children may have never thought of, such as a firefly.  With over twenty poems, one could be read each morning to begin a light unit.
