Poster Presentations:
The poster session will be held on Friday afternoon from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM in Room 300 of the EMU Student Center. Presenters are encouraged to stand by their poster during this period to answer questions. The facility will be open at 4:30 PM for posters to be affixed to cork/foam boards.
Posters should fit into an area of approximately 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide although taller posters can be accommodated. Push-pins will be provided to mount them on cork/foam boards (provided) and set them onto tripods (also provided).
Oral Presentations:
Overhead projectors and computer projection systems are the recommended presentation media. We recommend that you bring your own laptop to ensure that your computer presentation works as you expect. Nonetheless, a PC laptop running Microsoft Office software will be available for use if you wish to bring only a CD or jump/key drive. If you bring only a CD or jump/key drive, then please have your presentation pre-loaded onto the provided computer in advance of your session.
If you have special audio-visual needs (e.g., a slide projector), please contact Ernie Behringer ( HYPERLINK "mailto:ebehringe@emich.edu" ebehringe@emich.edu) as soon as possible so that arrangements can be made.
All contributed talks have a time limit of 12 minutes. Please plan on (and practice) a 10 minute presentation, leaving 2 minutes for questions and to make the transition to the next speaker. Time limits will be strictly enforced to be fair to all speakers.
