Magellan Highlights of Venus
Description
In 1989, NASA's space shuttle Atlantis launched the Magellan spacecraft to Venus.  Since its arrival in August 1990, Magellan has mapped 97% of the Venusian Surface.  Come see an exciting geological tour across the surface of Venus presented in 40 spectacular slides of radar images returned by the Magellan spacecraft.  Special topics include impact craters, mountains, tessera terrain, coronea, arachnoids, volcanoes, channels, and dunes.
