Do the homework, test problems, laboratory projects and reports that you must complete in order to make the grade actually prepare you for what you will face as an associate in a research laboratory? Rene Crombez, a former EMU Physics Department undergraduate and graduate student, and currently a Research Associate in the Surface Science Laboratory here in the Physics Department, will discuss the different challenges faced as a student and as a reesearcher.
