A Review of Physics in 2005
Description
The World Year of Physics has ended. In the year 2005 the forces of nature were in full view, especially the magnitude of devastation from a tsunami, several hurricanes, and powerful earthquakes. These events overshadowed many great scientific advances: the exploration of objects in the universe, a new type of fusion, new experiments in particle physics, and new measurement techniques. There is more happening in science than you might have heard about from the traditional news media! So join us to discuss the physcis highlights from the year 2005. All are encouraged to share their favorite scientific happening of the past year!
