join us as Dr. Behringer describes the pattern of fuel use in the United
States and in Michigan. Because the current pattern of fuel use cannot
be sustained throughout the lifetimes of children alive today, we must
turn our attention to significantly improving overall fuel efficiency.
One way to do so is to "lightweight" cars to improve their fuel efficiency,
as discussed by Amory Lovins et al. in their book, "Winning the Oil Endgame."
