| Come
hear Dr. Reid provide an introduction to the causal set hypothesis for
the structure of spacetime. He will present arguments for why the
causal set structure might be the appropriate structure for a theory of
quantum gravity. Also, Dr. Reid will discuss ideas concerning the
logical and formal development of a causal set theory and hopes to provide
a few examples of these ideas.
