Only Got One Shot...

Many
of the students we teach in this department are here for only one course.
For some students, a course like PHY 110 will be the only physical science
they get at the college level. If you were give one shot at
these students to teach them the most essential features of physics, what
would you teach them? Would you emphasize practical problem solving?
The Scientific Method? Technological applications? Easy-to-repeat
hands-on demonstrations?
