An Overview
of Thin Film Growth Processes
|
|
Description
|
The
growth of thin films is playing an increasingly important role in the development
of new electronic and optical components. There is a wide range of
growth techniques, many of which can be understood qualitatively with a
little basic physics and chemistry. Some of these techniques will
be described, and their relative advantages and disadvantages will be discussed.
