Eyes on the Skies!

Description

| Mr.
Vance will describe upcoming events to watch for in our Michigan skies,
and will also describe the telescopes that are locally available to view
these natural wonders. In particular, the planet Saturn will proivde
excellent views this fall and winter, the Leonid meteors are predicted
to be great, and the planet Mars will provide the best views in 1000 years!
Also, a new Nexstar C8 telescope will enable students to see it all!
Finally, Mr. Vance will give a preview of the semi-annual trip to EMU's
Kresge Environmental Education Center at Fish Lake to view the skies. |
