Does Newton's
Third Law Really Work?
|
|
Description
|
| You
may have heard the phrase "For every action, there is an equal and opposite
reaction", and been told that this is Newton's Third Law. You may
have even been willing to say that Newton's Third Law was true – at least
for the sake of taking a test! But did you ever generate supporting
evidence for the Third Law, so that you really believe it, even
in the case of car collisions? After a brief discussion, we'll put
it to the experimental test by using recently acquired equipment. |
